A purpose-driven growth strategy

“For a future of health, wellbeing and financial protection”

This is SOMPO’s Purpose. To realize this vision, I believe robust growth in both our domestic and overseas businesses is essential.

My experience joining the company after studying abroad while playing football in Brazil, leaving the organization for a time, and then returning to the Sompo Group became the foundation for my mindset of embracing constant change. I share these thoughts and more in the interview with Bungeishunju PLUS. Additionally, I also talked about the potential of the newly established SOMPO Wellbeing, as well as how the Sompo Group can prepare for potential global risks, our vision for the society we should strive to create, and the challenges we face in realizing SOMPO’s purpose.
